Ruth Pollard is an award-winning multimedia journalist specialising in conflict reporting across the Middle East and North Africa.
She focuses on those affected by war and repression in Syria, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Tunisia, Jordan as well as the Israel-Palestine conflict and the refugee crisis that now stretches from the Middle East and Africa into Europe and beyond.

From 2011 - 2015 she was the Middle East Correspondent for two of Australia's leading newspapers - The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age - and their associated online news sites.
From 2016 she's been based in New Delhi where she's working on politics and security stories across South and South East Asia for Bloomberg.
