Ruth Pollard is an award-winning multimedia journalist specialising in conflict reporting across the Middle East and North Africa.
She focuses on those affected by war and repression in Syria, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Tunisia, Jordan as well as the Israel-Palestine conflict and the refugee crisis that now stretches from the Middle East and Africa into Europe and beyond.
Working across multiple platforms, she produces compelling, interactive journalism.
From 2011 - 2015 she was the Middle East Correspondent for two of Australia's leading newspapers - The Sydney Morning Herald & The Age - and their associated online news sites.
Based in Beirut, she is available for reporting, editing and research commissions throughout the region.
